Summary

Growing up in a big family was the foundation of my desire to build strong interpersonal connections. Through graduate school, my self-reflective journey fuels my passion for growth, and I’m always seeking ways to improve as a therapist through supervision, honest feedback, and additional training. My work with women in the sex industry shaped the way I show up as a counselor—with empathy, authenticity, and a genuine desire to understand. More than anything, I care about building meaningful relationships with my clients and supporting them in their journey of finding healing and hope.

Work History

Assistant Director of Admissions

COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
08.2021 - 08.2025
  • I advocated for the university as an enrollment counselor, working closely with prospective students, their families, and assisting with events, school visits, and college fairs.
  • Within the student’s application process, I had many opportunities to engage in deep conversations with prospective students and their families about the college decision-making process, including discussions around their future, majors, and finances.
  • I supervised student staff and another enrollment counselor, which included training, creating data reports, creating and implementing enrollment strategies, and advising the staff on crucial conversations with families.

Front Desk Assistant

BE CHIROPRACTIC
02.2021 - 08.2021
  • I assisted in managing the front desk of a chiropractor's office. The environment was fast-paced and required the ability to multitask with a variety of duties, such as scheduling and billing, while providing top-tier customer service.

Outreach Coordinator

OUT OF DARKNESS
02.2020 - 01.2021
  • I led volunteer groups for five years with an organization assisting those working in the sex industry.
  • I transitioned to a paid outreach coordinator position in February 2020, and helped train volunteers, led weekly outreaches, and managed a team of twenty volunteer leaders.
  • I measured and evaluated our efforts to reach this community and helped develop strategies and creative efforts to increase awareness and effectiveness.
  • This role is what inspired my pursuit of a counseling degree. It was wonderful to provide a safe house and transition for trafficked women, but seeing the long road of recovery they had to walk down inspired me to have a more active part in that healing.

Barista / Shift Supervisor

STARBUCKS
08.2015 - 06.2020
  • I carried out many tasks in this fast-paced environment, including money management, customer connections, and leading a team of baristas.
