I have been an Investigator II with the Adams County District Attorney's Office for over ten years and have performed the many duties needed for the position.
I am fortunate enough to speak Spanish and this has come in helpful through out my law enforcement career.

Conduct interviews with victims and witnesses, at times in Spanish.
Review and collect evidence as needed.
Serve legal papers such as subpoenas, summonses, civil forfeitures.
Locate certain individuals on an as needed basis.
Complete a variety of law enforcement reports.
Enforce laws.
Patrol streets through out Northglenn and Adams County.
Acting Sargent for many years, FTO, SRO, NMTF, General Detectives, CIT, Hostage Negotiator, attending several Reid Field Interviewing and Interrogation (Advanced Courses). Etc.
Work the front desk of the police department and handle walk in calls. Determine if criminal or civil etc. Pull case report numbers and write police reports.
I am fortunate enough to speak Spanish so the officers at time would take me out in the field to translate on numerous occasions, Etc.
This was a volunteer position and I would be paired to tag along with a police officer. I translated Spanish for officers and citizens quit a bit while in this position.
Other duties as needed.
