Emma Roedel

Motivated and determined high school student with a strong background in sports, leadership, and communication skills. Has played soccer for 15 years and has developed communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Experienced in refereeing and professional internships through the L2K program at Legacy High School. Eager to bring a hardworking attitude, optimistic/welcoming vibe, teamwork, and public speaking skills to a part-time position or internship opportunity.

I’ve been involved in competitive soccer from a young age, serving as team captain and developing strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. I’m also part of my school’s L2K program, which focuses on public speaking, writing, and collaborative projects. Through L2K, I’ve completed multiple public speaking presentations, community nights, and participated in job-shadowing experiences.

Last year, I interned at Atlantis Community Inc., gaining experience in inclusive communication while working in a diverse environment. This summer, I will intern at Synapse Physical Therapy, where I’ll build hands-on client service skills. I’m also a certified soccer referee which has taught be patience and how to perform under pressure. Lastly, I have studied piano since age six , which has strengthened my discipline, focus, and problem-solving.

These experiences have shaped me into a determined, adaptable, and hardworking individual with a strong foundation in leadership and communication.
