  • Patrol assigned district to ensure the safety and security of those that visit and live in the Town of Parker. Accomplished by enforcing the laws of the State of Colorado as well as the Town of Parker Municipal Code while working within the means of the United States Constitution, the Constitution of the State of Colorado, Criminal Procedure and settled Case Law.
  • Protect life and property. Respond to calls for service to include emergency incidents. Conduct thorough preliminary investigations on criminal matters and make arrests based upon probable cause. Write articulate reports and prepare case filing warrant affidavits on misdemeanor crimes.
  • Working knowledge of law enforcement resources, such as, CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), RMS (Records Management System), Brazos (Citation Enforcement), NCIC/CCIC (National Crime Information Center/Colorado Crime Information Center), Lumen (law enforcement database), and Flock Safety.
  • The Town of Parker utilizes Flock Safety to detect and deter crime. Flock Safety gives officers the ability to use license plate readers to locate crime within the jurisdiction and hold offenders accountable. Flock Safety is an example of a community policing strategy that deters and reduces crime within the Town of Parker.
  • Successfully completed a 10 week PTO training program. Maintained an active training status as required by Colorado Peace Officer Standard Training.

DEPUTY SHERIFF

ARAPAHOE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

  • Worked in the Detention Services Bureau (DSB/County Jail) that involved, most importantly, ensuring the safety and security of civilian staff, sworn staff and inmates that were in custody.
  • Duties working in the DSB involved receiving, processing, and releasing inmates. Tasks in general population (pods) areas of the facility included direct supervision, building rapport with the inmates, enforcing the rules of the facility (Inmate Handbook) as well as the laws of the State of Colorado.
  • Achieved a Public Safety in a drug investigation within the County Jail. Achieved a Lifesaving award for action taken during an inmate medical emergency.
  • Worked in the Public Safety Bureau (PSB/Patrol) that involved, most importantly, ensuring the safety and security of the citizen's of the City of Centennial, Town of Foxfield and Unincorporated Arapahoe County.
  • Patrolled a variety of assigned districts. Duties included responding to calls for service, making arrests based upon probable cause, wrote articulate reports, managed emergency situations/high priority calls, conducted thorough preliminary investigations, and served the people of Arapahoe County with professionalism and integrity.

  • Also, I managed a desk with a government contract company (VECTRUS) which involved managing people coming in and out of the building as well as doing a foot patrol on the premises

  • I performed duties in the Emergency Operations Center that included receiving calls from property managers or security personnel in reference to security concerns and monitored security cameras at multiple contracted locations
