I am 16 years old, and I go to Erie High School. I have played on the High School baseball team for both years that I have been there. Last year I was a little league umpire for Coal Creek Little league. During that job I learned how to deal with difficult people and convey my perspective of the situation they were frustrated with. The High School baseball team taught me how to work with and as a team, as well as skills such as taking care of the baseball field. I have a driver's license and know how to drive a golf cart. At Erie High, I am a honors student and have been given two awards for leadership from teachers. I have a GPA of 4.3 for the semester, meaning that I am hard working and get what I need to do done. I have also volunteered at the OUR Center in Longmont, making and serving food for those in need at the center.
These two awards were given to me by two different teachers, during Erie's night of excellence, both for leadership within the school.
