Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Life-Saving Award; April 2023: I was awarded the Life-Saving award from Boulder County Sheriff’s Office for my efforts in treating a patient who overdosed on powered fentanyl, in his cell, at the Boulder County Jail, resulting in the saving of his life.
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Life-Saving Award; December 2022: I was awarded the Life-Saving award from Boulder County Sheriff’s Office for my efforts in treating a patient who overdosed on fentanyl, in the transport garage, at the Boulder County Jail, resulting in the saving of his life.
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Employee of the Month; December 2020: I was awarded Employee of the Month for Boulder County Sheriff’s Office related to my actions resulting in a positive outcome for my patient “due to the compassion, follow through and clinical judgment” in my treatment of this patient.
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Teamwork Award—Jail Care Team Award of Excellence for 2021; June 2021: Award of Excellence received for the actions of myself, along with two other nurses and two deputies, resulting in a positive outcome of a patient who was discovered to have extensive deep vein thrombosis in her bilateral groin, including likely saving her life.
