Boosted reliability of financial information through a deep-dive and clean up process of financial statements under USGAAP & IFRS.

Assisted in upper-level decision making by working with other departments in identifying critical flow of information and establishing a time frame for collection, processing and reporting of key financial information.

Coordinated the design of a tax planning that identified pain points and need-of-improvement issues that ultimately contributed to the cashflow of the company.

Led a large team (30+): Accounting, Treasury, Taxes, Internal Controls and Back Office.

Developed and action plan to turnaround a needs-improvement (high risk) rating from the international audit team into a satisfactory report within 2 years.

Designed a strategy to successfully repatriate dollars from the Venezuelan subsidiary once the country risk surpassed accepted levels due to the eminent increase of exchange regulation.

Assisted the country leadership with the design and execution of the local strategy of the Venezuelan operation through out difficult years (2008-2014).

Quickly learned skills and capabilities that allowed me to be the first member of the firm to re-enter the global exchange program. Gained experience in the Insurance industry within the Mexican market which at that point had the largest insurance company of latin america.

Returned to Colombia to apply best practices on the clients the firm had at the time.
