Non-destructive technician
US Air Force, Luke Air Force Base
12.2018 - 11.2022
After boot camp and non-destructive testing technical school I was stationed in Phoenix Arizona
There I worked for 3.5years, doing thousands of inspections on fighter jets such as F35s and F16s using the 6 inspection methods: eddy current, ultrasonics, radiography, liquid penetrants, oil analysis, and magnetic particle
Using these scientific methods, I would inspect the integrity of all the aircraft’s integral points, inside and outside of the aircraft, working with aircraft mechanics and engineers daily
Tested and calibrated instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
Conducted preventive maintenance procedures according to established schedules.
Main job was to use the scientific methods to inspect integrity of the aircraft, but secondly was to help others out with whatever was needed
Great with any hand or power tools and taking apart and putting things back together
Won a few awards while in service, such as unit of the year award 2x, my unit was the most efficient in all the air force 2 years in a row
Also earned the BTZ award, which is only given to handful chosen few in all of the air force for going above and beyond, doing not only what’s asked but do it right and efficiently then continuing to do more than expected and lead others to do the same around you, was a huge honor and I keep that work ethic with me even out of the military now.
Non-destructive technician
Marmen energy
03.2023 - 06.2023
At Marmen they build giant wind turbines for GE, the plant I worked at builds 100ft + towers from raw steel imported daily
Before they can be painted and finished for installation 100% of welds or machining to the plates must be inspected and passed by NDT technicians, using visual measurements and inspection, ultrasonic inspections, and magnetic particle inspections we would check everything according to GE standards and guidance to make sure everything is perfect and in tolerance, a quality assurance inspector using NDT methods.
Robotics Repair Maintenance Engineer
Amazon G11 fulfillment center
01.2023 - 03.2023

Walked around a 3million sqft building tracking the robots and rollers on a live program, finding any problems that come up everyday while also doing preventative maintenance on all the systems and machines.
