Service, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all emergency power sources site wide including UPS's (uninterruptible power supply), emergency lighting inverters and emergency power back-up generators. This equipment is critical and required by code in case of a catastrophic loss of power at the airport to ensure the safety of the public/employees, insure proper operation of the ECS (emergency communication system) and fire alarm, this equipment also insures power is not lost to systems that provide storage of critical data.

• I supervise a team of four electricians to maintain, troubleshoot, and test 78 dual sourced auto transferring switchgear throughout Denver
• International Airport, I also work closely with Xcel to maintain and troubleshoot the 25k electrical distribution system
• I am the approver of all electrical shutdowns throughout the airport.

• Lead a team of four electricians and one mechanical bridge technician
• We took care of everything on airport property from passenger loading bridges, ground power units, power and lighting throughout the airport, traffic signals, and any other electrical-related issues that come up throughout the airport.
