Journeyman Electrician with over 25 years of experience. During this time I have become a very well-rounded electrician working on many types of electrical systems. I started my career in residential construction, then moved on to large commercial projects and service work in Denver and surrounding areas. In 2007 I was hired as an Electrician with the City and County of Denver at Denver International Airport. DEN has allowed me to add to my skills working on a broad range of electrical systems including passenger loading bridges, ground power units, airfield lighting, dual sourced switchgear, generators, UPS's, all types of lighting, and much more. In December of 2017, I was promoted to Electrical Supervisor and have been successfully leading a team of electricians.
Service, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all emergency power sources site wide including UPS's (uninterruptible power supply), emergency lighting inverters and emergency power back-up generators. This equipment is critical and required by code in case of a catastrophic loss of power at the airport to ensure the safety of the public/employees, insure proper operation of the ECS (emergency communication system) and fire alarm, this equipment also insures power is not lost to systems that provide storage of critical data.
