Chase Reed

• My day-to-day duties included deploying and retrieving hydrophones, listening and looking for cetaceans, and sailing the ship.
• Oceanomare Delphis Onlus is a non-profit organization established to study and preserve cetaceans.

My duties include:

• Tank Care
• Maintenance
• Food Prep
• Collection
• I prep the food and feed our animals
• Clean and maintain their tanks
• Collect new specimens for the CMLC.
• I volunteer 4 hours per week, over the course of three terms or 9 months.

• Helped lead Eco Tours, Information Sessions, STEAM Sessions, and Community Outreach Events. Used communication skills in both Spanish and English to teach and inspire the youth and public about Marine Biology and Marine Conservation. (Summer 2025) (30 hours per week)

• Began as a busser and promoted to server/bartender. Managed multiple concurrent priorities, provided excellent customer service, handled rush periods with poise, and displayed a willingness to take on whatever tasks needed to be done (Summer 2023 and 2024) (40 hours per week)

At Monkey Business, I am in charge of greeting customers as they come into the restaurant. I then set their table and bring them menus before they come up to the counter to place their order. When they come to the counter, I take their order and ring them up. Once their food is ready, I bring it to their seat from the kitchen, and bus their table once they finish. As they leave, I see them off and encourage them to come back soon and have a great rest of their day.

• Used silkscreen or vinyl heat presses to add custom designs and logos to sports apparel, clothing, and accessories (Summer 2021- Summer 2022) (30 hours per week)
