- Served the State of Colorado by working to expand awareness and advanced knowledge of the Registered Apprenticeship program to potential employers, partners, higher education providers, and apprentices across the State of Colorado. Launched apprenticeship programs across all employment industries including Early and Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Transportation, Business, etc.
- Work with multiple state and local partners to ensure policy compliance and sustainable program development. These include but are not limited to Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), the Office of Future Works (OFW), and multiple local workforce centers, educational institutions, and community partners.
- Represented Arapahoe County at the local, State, and Federal levels of government by presenting detailed analytics and data to leaders and elected officials to illustrate the current economic situation in Arapahoe County, the State of Colorado, and the United States. Used various public database systems such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics to extract specific data to ensure quality data-driven decision making. This includes data on inflation, housing, the cost of secondary and post-secondary education, etc.
- Derived data from national and statewide databases to publish a quarterly Labor Supply and Demand report. This report helped illustrate the economic landscape at the national, state, and local level and identified labor shortages and areas of opportunity and labor growth throughout our community. Serve on the Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Data specialists’ team and regularly incorporate Labor Market Information at all levels of the organization.
