I helped take care of the dogs and cats in the kennels, including daily feeding, walking, bathing and nail clipping. I assisted the Vet Techs in animal restraint, taking heart rate and temperatures, and weighing. I also gained experience in taking stool samples and administering medication.

I cleaned the entire office after every shift, sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, and refilling and managing the resources in the office.

I interacted daily with customers and worked in a high pace environment together with my coworkers.

I worked with the librarians and other aids to check books in and out, organize the drop-off books, and assist students with questions and materials. I was also asked to do various extra tasks for the library like drop off and run packages, manage materials, copy and print papers, and help set up library events.

I have looked after a family friend's cats, and provided them daily food and water. I cleaned their litter boxes daily, and checked for messes or accidents in the house.

While watching the cats, I would stay extra time to play with and entertain the cats, and updated the owner daily on her animals with pictures and videos.

I did a small gig as a scare actor one year for a haunted attraction. I attended a few weeks of training before the attraction opened, and worked with the others in the team to create cohesive stories and characters.

While on the job, I collaborated with others to ensure a safe environment for both actors and customers. Helping customers navigate the attraction safely in the dark without breaking the illusion and making sure all cast members were safe and well was very important for the role. As well as being scary, of course.
