My first role at Discount Tire was being a technician. I would maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines. Make sure that cars were being completed in a timely fashion. Helped other technicians if they needed help.

After being a technician I was promoted to an Assistant manager. I had most of the duties as a technician but had more responsibilities. Supervised day-to-day operations to meet performance, quality and service expectations. Maintained a clean, safe, and organized store environment to enhance the customer experience. Being the assistant manager I had to develop a strong work relationship with staff, so that I was fostering a positive work environment. I had to make sure the back room was running smoothly and all employees were where they should be for the day.

As a 5s Manager/Workflow Manager I was given more responsibilities from an Assistant Manager. My main focus was customers and making sure each customer I helped was safe and to make sure that the backroom staff could understand what needed to be done on that vehicle in a timely manner. I had to make sure that both the front and back rooms were running correctly. I would manage and motivate employees to be productive and engaged in their work. I had to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Maintain professional, organized, and safe environment for employees and customers. Enhanced customer satisfaction by resolving disputes promptly, maintaining open lines of communication, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

As a Marketing Manager I was in charge of the front room. My main focus was customers. I had to make sure that the customer was satisfied with their experience and safe. I needed to make sure the backroom could read and understand what needed to be done to each car I wrote up. I was in charge of who was going to be on the counter for the day and who needed to float between the front and back room. Making sure the front room is clean and safe for all customers.

I was also in charge of looking at our sales for the month/week/day and seeing what we needed to do to be up in units and sales. I would compare how our sales and units looked like compared to last year.
