- One of the most popular restaurants in Downton Colorado Springs so we were always packed
- Skills Gained: Ability to balance two jobs with completely different workloads and schedules all while maintaining a social life and avoiding burnout, ability to create the perfect Tequila Sunrise (will recreate if asked)
Administrative / Accounting Assistant
3 Months- I handled accounts receivable/payable, inventory management and helped around the office
- This job helped me discover my love for accounting work and anything handling numbers
- For the short time I was their, I was trusted with a large number of responsibilities and I will always be grateful for that amazing job
- Skills Gained: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Jobber, Basic understanding of accounting, inventory management and customer relations
Sonar Technician /Administrative Assistant
1 Year- Joined the U.S Navy with hopes of serving at least a 5-year contract but due to past medical records coming to light, I was disqualified 8 months into schooling and was a secretary for captains and commanders while I awaited separation
- Developed an apperception for our men and women serving, as well as higher importance of what it means to be on a team
- Skills Gained: Perfected Teamwork skills, Reliability, Discipline and Communication
Line Attendant / Server
1 Year 6 Months- Primarily getting people their drinks before they pay for the buffet, also has helped me with communication / mastering the art of small talk
- I can also make a great batch of sweet tea now
