Research Experience
Research Assistant, Texas State University, 2022, The current project investigates how structure in language, such as grammatical structure and sound patterns in spoken language prosody, is learned, stored, and activated by everyday language users. We are also studying how structure in other domains, specifically mathematics, are related to structure in language. The experiment involves the use of advanced eye tracking which I am responsible for calibrating and performing tasks for data measurement.

- Snack Pak 4 Kids, 2017, 2019, The mission at Snack Pak 4 Kids is to provide nutritious meals to students on the weekend so they are prepared for school on Monday. Sorted and organized food for packing. Packed meals for delivery by other volunteers.
- Amarillo Angels, 2019, The Love Box program provides fostering families with community and holistic support. Worked 1 on 1 with the program manager gathering supplies for the love boxes including food items, toys, and house supplies. Delivered boxes to families around Amarillo, TX
- Austin Parks Foundation, 2021, 2022, Project cleaning up Lady Bird Lake and the surrounding parkland. Helped remove nearly 6,000 pounds of trash from Lady Bird Lake.
- San Marcos regional animal shelter, 2022, I cleaned the animals as well as their kennels and various laundry. Exercised animals by taking them for walks. Socialization of cats
