- Company Overview: Third Way is a residential treatment center for teens who are part of the foster and legal systems
- As a part of the BSSW Program through Metro State University, I had to complete over 200+ hours of an internship program
- These teens have been placed either by family, the state, or the courts
- Individuals are troubled, suffering with mental health, disabled, using either drugs or alcohol, and those individuals need some sort of therapy whether it be mental, or by utilizing medication

- Therapy sessions with team therapist (milieu, and group sessions.)
- Hands-on experience I obtained, and I learned the value of understanding and empathy as there is a lot that goes into housing and treating these children who have gone through some of the toughest of situations
