- Performed ultrasonic measurements in a pressure vessel to capture P-wave and S wave arrival times, analyzing the propagation velocities through the rock samples
- Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Douglas Schmitt to analyze rock samples from Europe, focusing on their mechanical properties
- Conducted Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS) tests and Brazilian tests to evaluate the mechanical strength and brittleness of the samples.
- Processed and analyzed the resulting data using MATLAB and Vista software, enabling the modeling of mechanical properties in relation to the geological characteristics of the samples
