  • Joaquín Graciosín Trilogy (son sólo 2) - Global Game Jam 2024

Pulpín Andarín proudly presents the first "Clown Attack" in history, alongside two other installments in a trilogy that will leave no one indifferent:

The journey begins with "Joaquín Graciosín: The Bengingin," where you take control of the destiny of the Risas Enlatadas psychological clinic, attempting to help patients forget their problems through laughter.

Next comes the sequel, "Joaquín Graciosín: The Vengeance," where Joaquín must face all the patients who didn’t find his clever jokes funny. Keep the mood light with a variety of absurd, dark, or slapstick humor.

The trilogy concludes with "The Friends We Made Along the Way," a reflection on the bonds formed throughout the adventure.

Game Programmer at "Walking Octopus" Team

As part of our master's thesis, I am developing a tower-attack style game using Unreal Engine 4 and C++. My main responsibilities as a programming team member include:

Game Design and Mechanics:
- Implementation of maps, movement and shooting controls, game over system, and portal recoil
mechanics.
- Testing of first-person and top-down cameras, adjusting collisions, and enemy parameters.
Interface and Screens:

- Development of menu screens, HUD, and navigation between them.

-Level Design:
- Creation of levels and maps highlighting turret upgrades and portal systems.

Graphics and Sound:
-Creation of textures, visual and sound effects, and development of top-down camera.

Optimization and Gameplay:
- Improving performance, gameplay, and establishing automatic camera settings.

- Player Skills and Upgrades:
- Implementation and enhancement of skills, upgrade management, and tutorials.

Each player represents one town, with the goal of bringing the Holy Potato back to their village. The main motivation behind developing this platform is to target a specific market niche that has yet to be fully exploited, something we aim to achieve with our management applications.

To accomplish this, we have developed:

• A web application built in Angular that provides access to services from computers.
• A mobile application developed in Ionic that allows users to book services directly from their mobile devices.
• An administration application created in Angular that enables staff to manage boats and services offered.
