I studied at two prestigious universities in Colombia. I studied microbiology and bioanalysis at the University of Antioquia and 3 years later I decided to study my postgraduate degree in medical microbiology at the Javeriana University. I have worked in small and large laboratories. During the pandemic I had the opportunity to worked in a specialized laboratory where covid tests are carried out. They transferred me to the headquarters in the city of Medellín. There I had the opportunity to be a leader of the molecular biology process, applying the knowledge acquired at the headquarters, advising the process and making improvements. Six months later, I was selected for my skills acquired during the specialization to perform a vacation replacement in the area of microbiology. Currently, I work as coordinator of a private clinical laboratory, where I have implemented improvement plans contributing to the quality of the user service process and processing of clinical samples. My experience in different laboratories has allowed me to acquire skills such as effective communication, adaptation to change and results orientation that are important for the clinic and the position offered.
I like to balance my time between my family, sports, and activities to nourish my spirituality.
