· Provides weekly individual supervision and group supervision, and daily support to Youth Treatment Counselors

· Provides hands on support and training of YTC duties, including but not limited to, critical incident reports, daily logs, SWISS data, daily notes, and head count sheets

· Participation in inter-departmental meetings, including child team meetings, weekly debriefs, staff trainings and team building activities

· Works collaboratively with other department leaders to ensure consistency and continuity between education and cottage milieus, and clinical service plans

· Responsible for ensuring social, emotional, and behavioral interventions are being provided in a trauma sensitive and developmentally appropriate manner

· Support of training opportunities provided to YTC’s, including but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, and Motivational Interviewing

· Support the interviewing and hiring of YTCs for the day treatment program

• Implement treatment plans and IEP's in an appropriate manner as directed by the clinician and teacher
• Provide clean, safe and therapeutic learning environments by providing one on one tutoring, small group instruction, and maintenance of student engagement in academic and social emotional learning
• Provide a therapeutic balance of hierarchy and affiliation, demonstrating an understanding of the emotional needs of the children at all times
• Implement TCC procedures for behavior management (both verbal and non-verbal) and physical management, balancing client's needs for structure, nurturing, learning and recreation
• Assist with classroom management strategies implemented with the collaboration of the educational, clinical, and student engagement specialists
