Work History

Warehouse Worker/Stocker

Pyro Maniac
Denver
05.2025 - 07.2025
  • I worked at a firework warehouse seasonally for the past four years. While working here, I was full-time and would unload trucks full of fireworks, put them in their designated spot in the warehouse, pull orders for wholesale customers, and stock shelves for the retail store. Here, I learned how to use equipment and make the warehouse organized, so it is quick and easy to pull orders for when the season gets really busy. I also learned how to communicate with my coworkers so that we could get tasks done much more smoothly and efficiently. This job also required great strength because when we got busy, the days would consist of moving around 10-60 lb boxes all day in order to keep the warehouse moving at peak efficiency.

Closing Supervisor

Cold Stone Creamery
Lone Tree
02.2025 - 05.2025
  • I worked at Cold Stone for a little over a year as a supervisor. This would entail scooping ice cream, checking customers out, making and decorating cakes, and being the lead while closing the store at night. This taught me great customer service because you would have to talk to every customer that you helped to understand what ice cream they wanted, and if they wanted it made a certain way. It also taught me great managerial skills, as I was a supervisor who would be left to close the store. I had to plan to ensure the store looked great for the openers, while trying to leave in a timely fashion. I also learned how to work within a team in order to keep the line moving as fast as possible on a busy night. This would require great communication in order to keep the lobby clean and the store stocked without requiring too many employees to stop helping customers to do so.
