Upward Bound Program
- I am a student of UBMS (Upward Bound Math & Science). In this program I have learned many skills including being a leader, being part of a team, solving problems, and working hard. This program is able to work around a busy schedule while maintaining good morals for me and the program.
Safeway and Alpine Veterinary Hospital
- While in 8th grade I participated in jobs days. I worked at Safeway and Alpine Veterinary Hospital for one day each. I underwent the interviewing process for Safeway and successfully got hired for the day. Both of these jobs helped me get a better understanding of how to work with a team in real scenarios, how to correctly problem solve, and how to work under high stress scenarios/levels.

- Since April I worked at The Ruby Rose. It is an amazing establishment that I was given the opportunity to be a part of. I was hired on as a Greeter/ Dishwasher and throughout my time being there, I became a Barista. I worked at the register ringing up customers while having hands on experiences with customers not only in person but as well as online orders and over the phone. I also assisted in the kitchen with prepping a variety of foods. I learned how to manage opening and closing duties and was able to learn many new things. During my time working there, I was able to apply the techniques and skills I have learned from Upward Bound and Job days. I have learned many more skills that I have applied and mastered throughout working in that establishment.
